In an event co-sanctioned with the Asian Development Tour (ADT) and which carries world ranking points, Thailand's Sattaya Supupramai shot a five-under 67 to take the first round lead in the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour’s Sabah Championship today.
Arie Irawan and Zen Dharmaratne in joint fifth place on three-under 69, alongside Thailand’s Pavit Tangkamolprasert and Rory Hie of Indonesia.
That effort at the testing Sabah Golf & Country Club was good enough for Sattaya to grab a one-stroke lead over compatriots Pasamet Pogamnerd and Pijit Petchkasem, and Sweden’s Nils Floren.
