Thailand’s Pijit Petchkasem shot a third round 67 to open up a two-stroke lead in the PGM Tour’s RM200,000 Terengganu Championship at Resorts World Kijal.
The 27-year-old, who hails from Bangkok, pulled away from joint overnight leader, American teenager who came home with a 69.
Pijit, who shot a third successive round in the 60s, was 12-under 201 with a day to go.
Malaysian Shaaban Hussin posted the best score of the day when he signed for a five-under 66, which left him tied for third with Pavit Tangkamolprasert (70) also of Thailand. They were on eight-under 205.
